Baansuli produces handcrafted jewelry from locally sourced bamboo in one of the poorest pockets of Gujarat, where the majority population belongs to indigenous tribes. Sacheti started Baansuli while pursuing a fellowship to offer a means of livelihood to the residents of the area. She has won the 3M CII Young Innovator Challenge Award and other honors and has received funding from Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH.
