About Our Artisans

In 2017, Baansuli came into existence as a project with few artisans. Later, in 2019 Baansuli became a social enterprise with 5 artisans. We now have 20 artisans on board –  10 specially for home décor and 10 skilled under jewellery and other products. The journey with all of them has been the most beautiful thing that has happened to us. From no food to having 2 meals a day, from not sending their kids to school to sending and ensuring Fixed Deposits for their kids’ education, from no regular source of income to monthly salaries, from kuccha house to pucca house, from no vehicles to owning a 2 wheeler, from knowing no technology to doing video calls, having nothing to having something, they have grown together with a sense of Atmanirbharta.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide regular source of income to maximum number of tribal villagers and stop seasonal migration. Further we would like to onboard maximum numbers of tribal artisans and facilitate good living standards. The goal of Baansuli is to uplift the community; empower the community at large by providing new opportunities.Providing the necessary tools and equipment to make marketable locally produced goods; help schools improve the quality of education.
